Tony Hoff

Tony currently serves as SBS’ Marketing Director. In his role, he oversees company communications, branding, product launches, and ensuring SBS’ website is the leading source of voting and governance information for member organizations. In addition, Tony partners with clients to plan and manage successful projects that increase member engagement and voter participation.

Mackenzie Burckbuchler

Mackenzie is a Partnership Success Specialist at Double the Donation, the leading provider of matching gift automation software. With a Master of Marketing degree, she understands the importance of nailing messaging and creating cohesive campaigns that resonate with audiences. Through her role, Mackenzie works with fundraising technology companies to help nonprofits and educational institutions leverage the power of corporate matching gifts.

Jessica King

Jessica King is the business lead at Getting Attention, where she helps nonprofits get the Google Ad Grant and manage it effectively to get the most from it.

Prior to her work at Getting Attention, Jessica worked at nonprofits and in higher ed, where she focused on communication and digital marketing. Most recently, she worked in search engine optimization in the mission-driven sector.

Jessica holds a master’s degree in communication from Virginia Tech. In her free time, you can find her reading, cooking a new recipe, or hanging out with her cats, Benny and Olive.

Monica Pitts

Monica is the creative force and founder of MayeCreate. She has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with an emphasis in Economics, Education, and Plant Science from the University of Missouri. Monica possesses a rare combination of design savvy and technological know-how. Her clients know this quite well. Her passion for making friends and helping businesses grow gives her the skills she needs to make sure that each client, or friend, gets the attention and service he or she deserves.

Meenakshi Das

Meena Das is the founder, data consultant, trainer, and an ethicist with her nonprofit consulting practice, NamasteData. She specializes in designing and teaching equitable research tools and analyzing engagement. Meena appreciates spending her time outside work as a mentor to immigrants. Her three recent favorite projects are managing her LinkedIn-based newsletter “data uncollected”, and offering workshops on equitable data through her school “Data Is For Everyone”.

Catherine Ashton

Catherine Ashton is the CEO of Giant Squid Group. She’s on a mission to change the way nonprofits raise money, that’s why she started Giant Squid Group–to help start-up and small nonprofits land donors, win grants, and fund their missions. Catherine is proud to say that each year, her clients raise millions of dollars and have an incredible impact on their communities. She fell in love with fundraising right out of college, and is as energized by asking a prospect for $50,000 as she is creating an Excel dashboard. Mark Rovner

Mark Rovner is the Founder of Sea Change Strategies. In the best-selling book “Tribes” by Seth Godin called Mark a “fundraising heretic” and a leader in the field of non-profit communications. Over the course of his 30-year career, Mark has advanced and helped to reinvent cause-based communications and public engagement. He has a law degree from Georgetown and more recently a certificate in feature film screenwriting from the University of California, Los Angeles (extension program). He is a passionate diver, is in love with sharks, and is especially committed to marine conservation issues.

Marc Pitman

Marc is the founder of Concord Leadership Group and has served as its CEO for 20 years. In that time, he has presented trainings and keynotes to over 25,000 participants in North America, Europe, Mexico, and New Zealand; coached more than 120 CEOs, C-suite executives, directors, and owners; and in the last two years has certified an additional 24 Quadrant 3 Leadership Coaches, who have gone on to coach and train more than 14,290 leaders in corporations, government, associations, and nonprofits. Marc holds his masters in organizational leadership from Regent University.

He is a Certified Franklin Covey Coach, a Certified Speaking Professional of the National Speakers Association, and president of the South Carolina chapter of the International Coaching Federation. He has appeared in or been recognized by media outlets and publications including NBC, Fox News, Al Jazeera, Success magazine, Real Simple, and the Chronicle of Philanthropy. He is executive director of The Nonprofit Academy; an advisory board member of innovative fundraising platform Pennybridge in Orebro, Sweden; and a former advisory panel member of the Rogare Think Tank at Plymouth University, Plymouth, United Kingdom.

He is married to his best friend and is the father of three amazing kids, who, if he’s belting ’80s tunes, will deny they know him.

Joy Duling

Joy Duling has been working with leaders of associations, trade groups and nonprofits since 2005, through her consulting practice which is aptly named The Joy of Membership. In this role, she has gained recognition as a speaker, online educator, podcaster, and trusted advisor. For more than a decade, Joy also served as the Executive Director for a nonprofit that she guided from just an idea raised at a conference room table to a fully operational nonprofit with annual membership revenues of $1.3 million. In 2021, Joy launched a software platform called JourneyCARE.app which focuses on helping small organizations leverage technology to streamline operations and provide exceptional member care.
