David Lai

David is a former Venture for America Fellow who is passionate about analytics, entrepreneurship, and mental health. They currently work at Brooklyn Data Co — a full-stack data analytics-as-a-service consultancy — but previously built out the data stack at The Trevor Project, the nation’s largest suicide prevention service for LGBTQ+ young people. The mission of The Trevor Project is still near and dear to their heart, and inspires David to imagine how data can be used to inform and architect more just systems for the most vulnerable populations. When David’s not sharpening their data skills at Brooklyn Data, you can find them on the tennis court or thrifting.
